Decluttering your home can be a challenge, but I hope this series has helped you see that you can make progress and change your mindset about stuff.
If you’ve fallen behind, know that you can repeat this series as often as necessary by signing up for Spring Cleaning 365 PLUS. Of course, if you aren’t into decluttering at the moment, you can sign up to clean, organize, and simplify another room in the house.
In the meantime, here’s a recap of what we’ve covered so far…
How to Declutter Your Home– Series Recap:
Step 1: Declutter Your Junk Drawer
Step 2: Declutter Your Coat Closet
Step 4: Declutter Paper
Step 5: Declutter Your Car
GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES >>>
The main “supply” you need as you declutter is the decluttering toolkit. The free labels will keep you on track and will help you gain traction quickly!
SET A TIMER >>>
It doesn’t matter if it’s 15 minutes or 3 hours…decide how long you plan to work and set a timer. You’ll get in a grove and – perhaps – keep decluttering until you can’t declutter anymore!
FINISH THE SERIES >>>
Simplifying your stuff takes work. But once you get in the right mindset, it gets easier to let things go. You realize that some (most) of the stuff you’re holding onto is just keeping you from enjoying the here and now. Start small. Start by decluttering some of the simple areas we’re covering in this series. Then, you can really begin to evaluate all of your possessions.
